What is the dimensions of the black mail box you used, its looks fairly wide
And how deep did you dig the hole, I assuming you made some sort of footer before placing the concrete blocks in.

A : The dimensions are : 10.5" W x 9" H x 19" D. The hole I dug was 40 " deep. How deep you have to go depends on the frost line from where you live.
